Forest Bathing In Franklin Park

June 1, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Experience the healing benefits of the Emerald Necklace with Forest Bathing and discover one of Boston’s forested gems on this slow-paced guided therapeutic combination of leisurely walking, sitting, and observation. This is a chance to unplug, slow down, de-stress and deepen your connection with nature.

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, years of research and studies have shown the practice to be an effective form of preventative healthcare and treatment for many stress-related illnesses. The walk, held in collaboration between the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and the Franklin Park Coalition, will be led Tam Willey of Toadstool Walks, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

Registration required!

Although this is a free event; donations are gratefully accepted.

For more details on the walk, including what to bring, please view this document.
