| A heated election is underway for the new District 7 Roxbury city councilor, Acting Mayor Kim Janey’s old seat. All of Franklin Park falls in District 7 so the race and our next councilor will be critical to solving park issues, promoting the park, and making sure it’s maintained.
The Franklin Park Coalition has joined with Roxbury groups to host a District 7 City Council candidates’ forum in person at the Franklin Park Clubhouse. Get to know the candidates and make a decision about who you support for our next Councilor. Even if you’re not a District 7 voter, but want to make sure Franklin Park gets the attention it needs, the forum will be an important way to show up and show you care about the park! |
